Hypertension is a common condition that affects the body's arteries. It is primarily caused by high blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure, the force of the blood pressing against the artery walls will be too high. The heart has to work harder to pump blood.

Approximately 1.28 billion adults worldwide, aged 30-79 years, have hypertension, most living in low- and middle-income countries. Out of them, only 42% are diagnosed and treated.

Around 1 in 5 adults (21%) with hypertension have it under control. 46% of adults with hypertension are unaware of their condition.

Hypertension significantly increases the risks of heart, brain, kidney, and other diseases. Making it a major cause of premature deaths worldwide.

What would it take for me to be able to have a lead pellet removed from the lymph node so rounding the main aorta of your heart. With MRI results show ing to be a sixteenth of an inch from said aorta. The incident had happened in the summer of 1998. I'll be 40 in a couple of months. I'm sick of being afraid to breathe.

Male | 39

I know you are worried about the lead pellet that is close to your aorta. In such situations, only a specialist can determine the best course of action. The closeness to such a life-saving place is really indeed severe. Chest pain, breathing problems, or exhaustion are some of the symptoms to look for. Seeking medical help right away is vital for a proper assessment and the recommendation of treatment options.

Echogenic focus seen in left ventricle massuring approximately 2.9mm it's normal?

Female | 26

You have an echogenic focus measuring 2.9 mm in the left ventricle - this is often a meaningless discovery that isn’t associated with symptoms. This can happen when there are tiny deposits inside the heart muscle. The heart is still by all means okay with it. Always remember to check it during the regularly scheduled visits to make certain that everything is within normal limits.
