Questions & Answers on "Bone Marrow Transplant" (101)

Hello doctor,I am 23 years old HIV positive women.I married and I want to use long term contraception.I like Implanton but I read tah there is interaction between hiv medication and implanton implant.so please help me with which one is best for me.My medicine is the following one: Dolutegravir, Lamivudine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate Tablets/Dolutegravir, Lamivudine et Fumarate de Tenofovir Disoproxil Comprimés 50 mg/300 mg/300 mg

Female | 23

You are consuming Dolutegravir, Lamivudine, and Tenofovir, note that these HIV drugs might have an interaction with Implanon to contemplate. This conflict is likely to affect the efficiency of both the HIV drug and the implant. One should tell the doctors to find a safe and useful option of contraceptives you prefer.

Is it normal to feel weak and loss of appetite after a week of getting treatment of Bilharzia.

Male | 34

After treatment for Bilharzia, feeling weak and losing appetite is common. Medicines used can cause these side effects. Weakness happens as the body fights infection. Drink lots of water and eat healthy foods, despite no appetite. If symptoms worsen or persist, inform your healthcare provider.

My mother is losing weight without any reason? Is it a sign of cancer?

Female | 37

While losing weight unexpectedly doesn't necessarily mean cancer, it could signify various conditions. Don't worry immediately. Other symptoms might occur, such as constant exhaustion, appetite fluctuations, or discomfort. Common reasons include stress, thyroid problems, or diabetes. However, to be certain, seeking professional medical evaluation is essential.

Female | 51

Your blood test could indicate an issue. High WBC and Eosinophils levels, as well as low Haemoglobin and RBC counts, could mean there is an infection or inflammation present. Signs might consist of tiredness, feebleness, and generally feeling unwell. If necessary, it would be best to contact a doctor for more tests and treatment.
