I am located in Tanzania. I have ruptured my Achilles tendon. I know I need to have surgery. My concern is I have no feeling in the bottom of my foot, the doctors here want to do the tendon surgery and are saying the damaged nerves may repair themselves. I don't know if that is true or if I should have a neurosurgeon do the surgery.
