My son is 3 years 7 months old. He is having ADHD and delayed speech problem. Last month he suffered from hand foot mouth infection but he recovered in few days. After that infection, his nature has changed a lot. He cries without any reason. When he gets up in the morning he cry for almost an hour. In day time also he starts crying at any time and we are unable to understand any reason for that. We try to do all the things which he likes but he only stops crying after 1 to 2 hours. The same problem happens at night also. On some days he wake up at 3-4 am and starts crying and after an hour he stops and then go for sleep. As he does not speak anything we do not understand what problem he is facing. He is also undergoing therapies for ADHD and speech delay. But at therapy centre also he keeps on crying. He was moody earlier also but after HFM infection this crying problem has increased a lot. Pls guide.

Male | 3

It sounds like your son's recent changes in behavior might be linked to his recovery from the hand, foot, and mouth infection. Such infections can sometimes cause lingering discomfort or changes in behavior. Given his ADHD and speech delay, it is crucial to consult with his pediatrician and a child psychiatrist to evaluate any underlying issues. They can provide a thorough assessment and tailor interventions to help manage his symptoms.

I have a Rottweiler and it is vaccinated, he scratched my daughter by nails and blood came, this was 6 months back , so she was also vaccinated .....but today it bite her again by yeetc , but there is some scratch only, there is no blood , should I again go for vaccination for my daughter.

Female | 4

Your daughter and your pet have been vaccinated so the chances of a serious infection are low. Watch out for any redness, swelling, or pain in the scratch. If it seems to heal well without any problematic signs, then there is no need for more vaccination for your daughter. Make sure that the wound is kept clean and observe any changes.

Your daughter may be experiencing developmental and sensory challenges that could benefit from evaluation by a pediatric neurologist or pediatric ophthalmologist. These specialists can assess her vision, behavior, and developmental milestones to provide a clear understanding of her needs.

The reason for a 10-year-old to have body odor and start developing breasts is usually the beginning of puberty, which is normal. However, it can sometimes be a sign of early puberty or other hormonal issues. It is best to visit a pediatric endocrinologist for proper evaluation and advice.

Female | 3

Your girl had seizures caused by fever - febrile convulsions. These simple seizures often last under 15 minutes, don't recur frequently in kids. Family history is common. Fever spikes rapidly increase body temperature, triggering convulsions. Monitor her temperature closely. Follow up with her doctor for proper care.
