Why Can't I Sleep? Think Too Much

Patient's Query

From last few months I'm not sleeping well. Im getting trouble to sleep. I think so much. I'm not getting sleep at night.

Answered by Dr. Vikas Patel

You are having insomnia issues. People with insomnia are those who experience difficulty falling asleep and/or staying asleep. The possibilities are that the discomfort is caused by stress, anxiety, or poor sleep patterns. To enhance your sleep quality, develop a sleeping habit, stay away from caffeine and screens before sleep, and create an atmosphere of relaxation. Should the problem persist, go for a psychiatrist's advice which can be helpful for you.

What drs would prescribe tramadol 50mg 2/ day and klonopin 2/day long term in Nc?

Female | 60

Tramadol helps moderate pain. Klonopin helps anxiety. Doctors prescribe these medicines when other treatments fail. You may need them long term if you have chronic pain or anxiety. However, these medicines can become addictive. So, take them precisely as your doctor instructs. Be certain to discuss any worries with your doctor.

I was prescribed adderall and klonopins throughout most of my 20s. My doctor retired when I was 30 years old and I never got a new doctor, therefore I stopped getting my medications. I am now 40 and truly feel like I need to be back on my meds. What should I do to get prescribed my medications as soon as possible?

Male | 40

To get back on your medications, it's important to visit a psychiatrist or a general physician who can assess your current condition and prescribe the necessary treatment. Explain your medical history and the medications you were on. They will guide you on the best course of action and may restart your previous prescriptions after a thorough evaluation.

To reduce or quit excessive masturbation, gradually reduce frequency, identify triggers, and find alternative activities to occupy your time. Establish a daily routine, limit access to triggering materials, and practice relaxation techniques to manage stress. Seek support from friends or a therapist, and remember that occasional masturbation is normal. If needed, consider professional help. Breaking the habit takes time and patience, so be kind to yourself

Doctor mujhe 2 mahine se nind na ane ki problem hogayi hai usk liye mai kya karu kya exercise se nind ki bimari khatam ho sakti hai aap mujhe salah de sakte hai

Female | 21

You mentioned trouble sleeping for 2 months. That's a long time - insomnia can feel exhausting. Many factors like stress, anxiety, and poor habits contribute. Simple exercises like deep breaths or light yoga before bed may improve sleep quality. Avoiding screens close to bedtime and maintaining a routine sleep schedule are also beneficial. However, if difficulties persist despite these efforts, seeking medical advice is recommended.

My friend suffering from following problem 1 if family member not talking politely or net & clean way then she crying too much 2. After that talking with herself ( I am positive, everyone talking with me polite, all is well, ok etc) 3.crying too much, closes her eye, sleeping on floor, pain in her left side chest, stomach sounding very fast like gad gad, plam light bluish

Female | 26

Your friend is having a hard time dealing with stress and experiencing emotional troubles, which in turn, are causing physical problems. She might be crying, talking to herself, and feeling a sharp pain in her chest, which is a clear indication of stress and anxiety. The noises in the stomach and blueish palms may be the first signs of a high pulse rate and lack of normal blood circulation. Advice her to speak to someone she trusts and make deep breathing a habit, and have her try relaxation techniques to minimize stress.

I took herbal medicine and I have been hallucinating

Female | 32

Hallucinations can be a sign of many underlying conditions I suggest that you go to psychologist as soon as possible in order to find out the cause of your hallucinations. You need to give thorough medical history to the doctor in order to help with the diagnosis. Do not medicate yourself. Instead, seek professional help.

My recent psychiatrist advised me to check with an endroconologist, and a psychotherapist who specializes in sexuality. Any suggestion? Patient is a women of age 42 and is suffering from some mental or brain related issue. She shakes her head frequently and often does not work normally of her day to day work

Female | 42

Information given by you ( some mental or brain related issues)is insufficient to arrive to proper diagnosis, Repeatedly shaking of head needs to see a neurologist, rather than endocrinologist, talk with your therapist for further treatment

Several months ago, I experienced a sudden and strong fear in one of the cafes, to the point that I felt a squeeze in my heart, pain, and a very strong palpitation, as if it had reached my stomach. I had to cough to relieve the palpitations and suffocation. Days later, I quickly became afraid of the simplest, even daily, situations, even if a simple emotion caused me strong palpitations and suffocation. And the tremors and coldness of the extremities. I read about diseases of the adrenal gland and became very afraid. The condition increased with great fear. I now cannot stand leaving the house and am very afraid of any feelings, even if the feelings are happiness or good feelings and also i get dizzy when i stand up too fast is it possible that there is something dangerous with the adrenal gland?

Lack of Sleep I want some sleeping pills

Female | 19

The signs of sleep deprivation, such as feeling exhausted, being moody, and having difficulties concentrating, can be bothersome. The reasons can be stress, too much screen time before bed, or a noisy environment you cannot control. Rather than sleeping pills, develop a soothing bedtime routine, such as reading a book or taking a warm bath to calm your mind. It can help you get the sleep you need.

I am 20 year old female, I have depression for last 2 months , I have symptoms like panic attack at anytime, feel chest pain and feeling heartbeat , cold hands and feet , mood swings , headache , weakness, suicide thoughts , I masturbate everyday to reduce my depression, please help me to cure .

Female | 20

You should visit a psychiatrist or even a psychologist trained on mental health. While masturbation does serve to offer a short-term release, it is not necessarily an effective cure for depression.

I am 15 years old, I drank an energy drink at 4pm with 200mg of caffeine. I have never had an energy drink before, I was normal until now at 9pm and I feel jittery anxious and on edge and my chest kind of hurts but I don’t know if it is just the anxiety or what. Please help me is this normal.

Female | 15

A high-energy beverage containing a lot of caffeine might be responsible for your current state. You know, caffeine can make some people feel nervous and jumpy or even give them a tight chest. The deal is that caffeine is a drug; it stimulates the body. To get well, you need to take water, calm down, and don't touch anything containing caffeine.
