Why won't Staphylococcus aureus clear with antibiotics?

Patient's Query

Hi. I have this Staphylococcus aureus I have used antibiotics twice so far but it does not go away. I also have problems with my heart valves and tightness in my throat

Answered by Dr. Bhaskar Semitha

Your issue with Staphylococcus aureus seems challenging. This type of bacteria can cause symptoms like heart valve problems and throat tightness. It's usually treated with antibiotics, but sometimes it can be resistant. Follow your doctor's advice; they may suggest different antibiotics or other treatments to help you get better.
