Can I undergo LASIK with -4 eye power?

hi iam 19 years old and my eye power is near -4 ,[minus 4] so can i do lasik eye surgery , i just want to remove my specis im wearing from past 6 years that time eye power was nearly -1.5 , every time its increasing ,, please let me know
