What ointment is best for occasional penis head rashes?

Patient's Query

Hi Sir, which is the best ointment for rashes on my penis head. Please tell me the reason for rashes coming occasionally on penis head. These rashes are not suffering by any itching. They will disappear in 2 to three days.

Answered by Dr. Ishmeet Kaur

You are probably feeling a little bit of discomfort on your penile skin. These rashes may be caused by irritants such as soaps, creams, or clothes rubbing against the skin. Since the rashes disappear within a few days and do not itch, then the chances are they are not the cause for alarm. To prevent rashes from recurring, you can try cleansing with mild, fragrance-free soaps and wipe the area down with a dry cloth. If rashes start to itch, hurt, or stay on the skin over time, it would be better to see a dermatologist.

Having pimple and painful bumps need a cream or gel.

Male | 22

Your skin issues seem to indicate pimples and sore bumps. These happen when pores get blocked, trapping bacteria inside. An over-the-counter cream or gel with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid may help. These ingredients reduce inflammation by killing bacteria on your skin's surface. Wash your face regularly to prevent clogging. Don't squeeze pimples, though - that can cause scarring. With some care, those bumps will clear up.

Is there any treatment to treat dark patch on my face

Female | 23

It is advisable to take the help of a dermatologist who deals with skin conditions and works to provide an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment. Do not use over-the-counter drugs, or self-medicate. They may worsen the condition.

Please I haven’t been able to sleep properly or walk properly since two days And recently it’s gone worse I have a very very painful burning sensation that I feel on my scrotum and it is due to using that podophylin cream This pain is worse and unbearable I can’t move, I can’t lay down properly I can’t walk…please give me something for this pain

Male | 27

It appears as though you possibly have an extremely bad allergic reaction on your podophylin cream. I suggest that you go to a dermatologist immediately for an assessment and treatment.

I am 25yrs old female...having urticaria from three days...before this I have a history of fever for 2days three days back....nd stomach pain that comes nd goes for min ...currently I am taking citrezine pantoprazole and cefixime...today my reports came nd it shows albumin2.4 nd raised ESR and crp

Female | 25

Hives, a fever and stomach aches suck. Plus your tests showing low albumin and high ESR and CRP are like major red flags. It could be that there is inflammation somewhere in your body. You need to see your doctor again so they can try and work out what’s causing it and how best to treat you.
