High blood pressure and 31 weeks pregnant

Answered by Dr. Himali Patel

Well in that case contact your gynecologist immediately. They may prescribe medication to control your bp, recommend bed rest or reduced activity, and monitor your condition closely. Maintain a low-sodium diet, stay hydrated, and manage stress.
High bp during pregnancy can pose risks, so follow your doctor's guidance for a healthy outcome for you and your baby.

Unconscious unrine during pregnancy, means delivery is due or else

Female | 34

Unconscious urine leakage during pregnancy, also known as urinary incontinence, can occur due to the pressure on the bladder from the growing uterus. It is relatively common during pregnancy, especially in the later stages when the baby's head puts pressure on the pelvic floor muscles.

I had unprotected sex with my friend during her periods. is there is any chances of pregnancy to occur

Male | 42

The odds of becoming pregnant during your period are typically slim; nevertheless, the occurrence is not impossible. Manifestations of gestation may involve skipped periods and vomiting. To avoid pregnancy and STDs, the use of a condom is essential every time you have sex. Testing for pregnancy may help assuage your fears if they're there.

I am currently on phentermine for weight loss and metformin for insulin resistance. I also take vitamins b12,d3,water pills, and vaginal ph balance vitamins. I'm currently on the depo Provera birth control shot once every 3 months. My last shot was feb.13th. I have had more frequent headaches for 2 weeks and ive lost a lot of weight the past 2 weeks and im also very fatigued everyday. To add to it. Ive been more emotional and moody. My moods are all over the place. I recently had bleeding for about 8 days (march22nd to April 1st) it wasn't heavy at all (I didn't need a pad or anything), but it was red. Not dark. Bright light red. It had suddenly started. Lasted for 8 days and then suddenly stopped. I never bleed because im on depo. Maybe an occasional spotting for a few hours every 3 or 4 months, but never actual bleeding. I thought it was odd so I took a pregnancy test. Faint positive. So took 4 more and they were all faint positives. Both red and blue dye tests. I had no cramping while I was bleeding, but now I'm having slight tightness in my lower belly and some upper back pain. Dull back pain. What could this possibly mean?

Female | 23

You need to go to the gynecologist for professional assessment. According to the symptoms, phentermine, metformin, and Depo Provera may be hindering your menstrual cycles and hormonal balance. Blood and home pregnancy test kits may indicate the chance of pregnancy, but confirmation with additional tests is important.

I think I have vaginal thrush (itchy and cheese like discharge in my vaginal). What medication can I use to treat it? My 15 months old son has oral thrush (white patches in his mouth that leaves injury when I try to wipe it). What medication can I use for him? I would also need to treat nipple thrush because I'm still breastfeeding him.

Female | 32

You and your son might have thrush, a fungus infection caused by Candida. Vaginal thrush could make you feel itchy and produce a discharge that looks like cheese. Typically, you’ll be advised to use antifungal creams or tablets. Treatment for oral thrush in your son can involve antifungal oral gel or drops. To avoid transmitting the infection back and forth, both of you might need treatment for nipple thrush. Make sure you take all the medicine prescribed for you to fully recover.
