Answered by Samruddhi Bhartiya

You should visit a specialist, they will begin with topical medications (Rs. 200 to Rs. 2,000) and then progress to laser (Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 30,000), chemical peel (Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 7,000), dermabrasion and microdermabrasion (Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 40,000). The cost will vary or may even exceed the mentioned ranges, depending on city, experience of clinician and infrastructure of clinic, severity of concern and area to be covered. Hello Sir! Around last two years, i am experiencing experiencing excessive sweating on my body as well as face. Few months ago, i checked up for thyroid test that was normal. Further my blood pressure was checked up which was 130/76. How can it be reduced to normal conditions?

Male | 23

Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, on the other hand, can arise from a large number of causes like anxiety, hormonal fluctuations even certain medications. Your thyroid and blood pressure readings are normal so we should move on to other causes like stress or diet. Keep your body cool, use breathable fabrics, and don't forget about relaxation techniques like deep breathing or yoga, and you will reduce sweating. If it gets worse, you should talk to the doctor about it first.

Is there any treatment to treat dark patch on my face

Female | 23

It is advisable to take the help of a dermatologist who deals with skin conditions and works to provide an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment. Do not use over-the-counter drugs, or self-medicate. They may worsen the condition.

I am 29 year old female. I am sexually active and do like whip play. Recently, my partner was whipping my breasts with his belt and swelling and bruising happened. It has gone down, however on my right breast a hard lump has appeared under my skin. Is this something to worry about or just a large bruise?

Female | 29

Swelling and bruising are common for rough activities. A lump may form after injuring the breast. These bumps are caused by blood collecting under the skin. You should monitor it closely. If it persists or causes any pain, seek medical attention immediately.

Male | 50

Psoriasis can be a bit challenging to treat but various treatments like medications, laser treatments, alternative treatments like homeopathy etc., avoiding triggers that worsen your psoriasis symptoms can prove useful. I suggest talking to your doctor for proper examination of your condition which will help in deciding which is the best treatment for your condition.

My son is 4.5 years and is having skin rashes since 1 year, in his knee, back, lower stomach and underarms. We have consulted skin specialist and applied futibact, tacroz and neoaporin ointments, but once we stop futibact the rashes return after a week and increase

Male | 4

The boy seems to have atopic dermatitis also called as atopic eczema. The care is utmost important in his case as the skin is dry and prone to rashes as well as infection. steps should be taken to keep his skin moist at all times. Start by oiling him before bath, use mild cleansers, and apply moisturizers immediately after bath so as to retain water and seal it inside his skin. The flutibact is for immediate reduction of rashes. Start using tacrolimus cream once a week to prevent further rashes. The flutibact is a steroid and antibiotic combination cream, and therefore has to be used judiciously. Please meet a pediatric dermatologist for more information regarding this problem
