I am 19 years old I have pigmentation around my mouth I need an even skin tone can you address my problem by suggesting me something?

Answered by Samruddhi Bhartiya

Dear user, pigmentation is your normal skin-color, while hyperpigmentation is darker skin tone and hypopigmentation is lighter skin tone.
Hyperpigmentation can be treated using creams, face acids, retinoids, chemical peels, laser therapies, dermabrasion and microdermabrasion, they are suggested depending on the extent to which your skin could be dark. They get rid of darkness and allow exfoliation, they can also hide scars, spots and sun damage.
Hypopigmentation includes treatments such as dermabrasion, chemical peel, laser resurfacing and lightening gels, but you may require other kinds of treatment if at all there's some underlying cause behind lighter skin tone. Neither can resolve with home remedies, guidance of an expert is must. You are given tips to prepare your body before undergoing any of the above mentioned therapies, and your medical history is checked as well. Both is done to reduce the chances of you running into any kind of risk.
Coming to uneven skin tone - Above treatments should suffice.
For further guidance, you can refer to our list of Skin Treatment doctors in Mumbai, or that of any other city, whichever you feel is convenient, and sought consultation services if possible.

Is laser suitable for us for removing hair

Female | 34

Yes, laser hair removal is a safest way to get rid of unwanted hair on any body part. but results totally depends upon the machine and technology that we used for these treatment. we at Dadu Medical Centre use the triple wavelength machine which works on every type of hair growth in one single shot. Which reduces the requirements of number of sessions as well as the time consumption in a session .

Male | 25

Staphylococcus aureus often leads to skin infections, boils, and even more serious problems such as bloodstream infections. It's caused by bacteria that may be hard to completely remove from the body. If the usual treatments like augmentin were ineffective in getting rid of the infection, vancomycin recommended by your friend is worth considering. Vancomycin is an antibiotic usually used as a last resort for persistent staph infections, especially those that do not respond to other antibiotics. When using vancomycin, it is important to follow your doctor's advice on dosage and treatment duration.

I have rigid black heads and white heads and open pores which kind of clean up I should go for. Nowadays my skin texture which was normal is turning dry.

Female | 25

According to me, you can go for a gentle, non-abrasive deep cleansing. Products that contain natural ingredients like tea tree oil, etc. can help with open pores and do not even have side-effects. For preventing dry skin, you can use natural ingredients like aloe vera etc., which can help keep your skin moist.

Can I use soframycin ointment on my nose piercing

Female | 17

Nose piercings sometimes get infected. Redness, swelling, pus appear when germs enter. Soframycin ointment doesn't treat piercing infections. Saline solution (saltwater) gently cleans the area. Rinse piercing multiple times daily. If symptoms persist beyond several days, consult a doctor. Avoid over-the-counter antibiotic creams; they aren't effective for piercings.
