Answered by Dr. Gurneet Sawhney

Neck discomfort, a heavy sensation in your head, and nerve-related pain are concerning symptoms. They may arise from stress, improper posture, or abrupt movement. Relax your neck muscles, maintain good posture, and apply warmth to alleviate the pain. However, if these issues persist, you can book an appointment with an experienced neurologist for accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

I understand your niece faces brain meningioma and a tumor in her right eye nerve – serious conditions, yet treatable. Meningioma often brings headaches, vision troubles, and weakness. Eye glioma risks vision loss. Treatment options: surgery, radiation therapy, medication. The key is working closely with specialists to choose the best care path for your niece.

This can be due to various reasons. It may be because you are not taking in enough water, or perhaps you are feeling stressed or tired. I am 28 years old male. I am having severe throbbing headache on the sides of the head as well as on the eyes. I also have swelling on my eyelids. i have extreme headache when i bend down or sneeze/cough. I also have nausea and vomited x3-4 times today

Male | 28

It may sound like you have a condition known as sinusitis. Sinuses get inflamed when spaces around the nose are filled with too much mucus due to colds, flu, allergies, or other conditions. This can lead to pain in your head especially when you lean forward or cough/sneeze; it also causes swelling in the eyes, nausea, and vomiting. To feel better try using warm packs on your face and take pain relievers that can be bought over the counter. Keep yourself well hydrated and rest enough too. In case these signs don't go away, you should see a doctor who will check them out further and treat them accordingly.

Also, knowing the cause of your stress and anxiety may help. If the problem still continues, please consult a reputed doctor to address the issue. I hope this helps.

I am 13 year old female and I have a headache and nausea. It started in the evening I cried after that I felt dizzy. I slept and when I woke up I was dizzy and nauseous. Do you know why it is like that?

Female | 13

Feeling headaches and nausea could be from several reasons. You might get this when you’re very upset or stressed because you’ve been crying a lot. Being lightheaded might also make someone feel like throwing up. Perhaps you twisted oddly in sleep or didn’t have enough to drink yesterday. Try lying down in a quiet room for some time; have a glassful of water and eat something small if possible.
