Skin Polishing techniques

Patient's Query

I want to ask different types of skin polishing techniques available and their prices too.

Answered by Samruddhi Bhartiya

Skin Polishing is also known as "Microdermabrasion" in clinical terms. It evens out your skin tone, exfoliates your skin, and leaves a smooth and glowing finish in the end.
There is crystal dermabrasion which uses crystals of aluminum oxide to wipe out dead skin cells from your skin.
There is also diamond microdermabrasion, which essentially performs the same function as crystal dermabrasion, but on more sensitive areas of your face.
And lastly, there's chemical peel, here those acids from fruits are extracted which are otherwise beneficial for our skin. They boost the overall appearance of our skin and gives it a good glow.
The price can vary between 1,500rs to 12000rs. But city of residence and expertise of specialists always makes a difference, in deliverance of results as well as the overall price, so we have prepared a list of Skin Polishing doctors in Mumbai for you to refer from, you can get in touch with highly qualified practitioners for more information.

acutally i have pimples and the dark sports made by pimple so how can i reduce it and make skin glow

Female | 16

Pimples and dark spots are very common and trouble a lot of people. The oil and bacteria are responsible for the development of pimples on the skin that result in inflammation. If the acne clears, the spots will be left behind. To treat them, use a mild face wash, don't pop your pimples, and use creams that contain retinol or vitamin C. Moreover, for healthy skin wear sunscreen every day.

Hi, I had sclerotherapy done on Wednesday last week. My veins look a lot worse, they as re purple and more visible, there is no brusing and they are also quite sore to the touch/I can feel tiredness in my legs. My doctor said I may have had an allergic reaction to the therapy because I am on holiday in a hot country (Brazil) and prescribed me an antihistamine. Will the veins eventually fade or will I need more treatment?

Female | 28

Bruising and discomfort after sclerotherapy are natural which normally resolves within a few days. But since you said your veins look worse and are more visible after the procedure could indicate a complication. It's good that you have already spoken with your doctor, but still experiencing discomfort or have any concerns, follow up with them promptly.

In some cases the veins may fade on their own over time, but if the issue is related to the sclerotherapy procedure, additional treatment can be needed. Its best to follow up with your doctor to discuss your options and determine the best treatment.

I have facial hair growth over both chin and upper lip. Its because of hormonal imbalance my DHEA level is 180. So may i know if laser hair removal will help get rid of this facial hair growth.

Female | 29

Laser hair removal can be an effective way to remove unwanted facial hair. But it is important to discuss any hormonal imbalances with your doctor before beginning a treatment plan. Laser hair removal may not be the best option for you if your DHEA level is high as this could lead to an increased risk of side effects. Your doctor may suggest other options such as oral medications, topical creams, or electrolysis.
