Red Veins on Breasts: Causes & Treatment Options

Patient's Query

i’m 16 years old and recently a lot of small red veins appeared on my breasts that feel bruise like. what could this be?

Answered by Dr. Anju Methil

There are red lines resembling bruises on your breasts. These could be small, burst blood vessels known as spider veins. These may appear in teens due to growth, hormones, or skin changes. They stand out more if your skin is light. Wear well-fitted bras and avoid excessive pressure to reduce their appearance. If they worry you, discuss them with a dermatologist.

Can my skin color still return after not taking iron supplements for a year

Female | 19

Yes, definitely! Starting iron supplementation can help improve your skin color. Symptoms of low iron, like pallor and fatigue, can show up in your body. Most iron deficiency is due to not getting enough iron in your diet. A balanced diet should include iron-rich foods like spinach and meat. Seek advice from a healthcare professional for suitable recommendations.

So i was punctured by a small metal and i washed and disinfected it i also got my tetanus shot last year what should i do?

Male | 16

It seems like you’ve done a good job taking care of the metal puncture wound by cleaning and sterilizing it. Because you had a tetanus injection in the past year, you are likely to be immune to tetanus. However, watch for redness, swelling, heat, or pain in the area. If any of these symptoms occur, seek medical attention.
