Why is my neck and chest sweating with rash?

Patient's Query

I'm female just turned 40 For 3 months now my neck and chest has been sweating like crazy, I have an angry itchy red rash all over my neck and chest also. I did have a blood test. I have high cholesterol and high glucose. I also have numbness and sometimes pins and needles in my feet. I only drink water and eat healthy I just need to find our what is the best thing to clear up my rash and this itchiness please! It's depressing me so much I don't even want to leave my house

Answered by Dr. Anju Methil

The sweating and rash on your neck and chest, as well as high cholesterol and glucose levels, are all symptoms that can be associated with a condition known as diabetes. The numbness and pins and needles in your feet are evidence supporting this. To clear up the rash and itchiness, sugar level management is the major thing. Healthy eating and physical activity can be wonderful alternatives to start with. A visit to a dermatologist is essential for an accurate diagnosis and treatment strategy.

I has a problem in my skin. It is soft and week how to solve it.

Male | 18

Soft and weak skin can signal the presence of multiple diseases such as Vitamin deficiencies and connective tissue disorders. I suggest you pay a visit to a good dermatologist who will examine your skin and conduct tests to come up with a diagnosis of the underlying cause. From the diagnosis, the dermatologist can propose suitable treatment to increase the health of your skin.

I’ve hyperpigmentation on my face and suburn don’t know what to avoid and yse

Female | 18

I see that you are having dark spots on your face after getting a sunburn. This is called hyperpigmentation. It happens when your skin makes more pigment, called melanin, to protect itself from the sun. To help, avoid direct sunlight, use sunscreen, wear a hat, and apply aloe vera to soothe the burn. Over time, the dark spots may fade, but protecting your skin from the sun is key.
