You likely have a urinary tract infection. UTIs cause pain and pus in urine. Even after medicine, you may see mucus. This means the infection isn't gone. It's crucial to finish all antibiotics from your doctor. Doing so clears the infection fully. Also, drink lots of water to flush it out. If symptoms don't improve, see a gynecologist again for further tests.
