How can I boost my teen athlete's energy levels?

My 14-year-old son is very active in sports but tends to get tired easily. What are some good nutritional guidelines to keep his energy levels high and ensure proper recovery?

The fact that your son is tired easily might mean that he is not eating enough healthy food. The energy gap can be filled by the consumption of carbohydrates such as the wholes grain, fruits or vegetables. The musky struggle situation from the point of view of proteins found in foodstuffs such as lean meats, fish, and beans which are good for the muscles. Now and then, sleep might be the reason behind it if the son doesn't feel well so be a good advice-giver and teach your child the importance of resting well too.
