Why is my mother experiencing acute chest pain and skin discoloration after bypass surgery?

Patient's Query

My mother had bypass last year. Now she's again having acute pain in her chest. With the pain her skin colour gets really dull & pain lasts for mins.

Answered by Dr. Swapna Chekuri

Considering your mother's background of having had Bypass Surgery and Acute Chest Pain, such acute pain can signal a possible heart problem. I highly recommend you make an appointment with a cardiologist for an in-depth examination without hesitation.

Can we get negative report at hcg blood test after missed period. I missed my period next day I went to blood test I got negative result. It will happen like that if we go early can you tell

Female | 26

It's normal to receive a negative result on an hCG blood test right after the missed period. Sometimes, the test can't detect pregnancy because it's too early. Therefore, if you still experience symptoms such as nausea and breast tenderness, you can retest a week later. However, it is also important to be calm and patient. If you're still confused, getting a second opinion is a good idea.
