Are tablets sufficient to speed up the functioning of the heart or I should opt for some kind of treatment?

My wife aged 60 is having slow pumping of blood in the left ventricle after taking ecg, echo and angiogram etc. The functioning of the heart is 65%. As per the cardiologist advice she is taking tablets. It may kindly be advised whether the tablets will speed up the functioning of the heart of otherwise any other treatment I have to undergo. Your advice is earnestly solicited. Suggest the treatment and hospitals.

Hello, With the lack of information regarding your wife's condition, prescribed treatment and diagnosis I can only assume what her condition is and what medications has been given to her. Assuming she has low ejection fraction number and the tablets she's been provided are beta-blockers, angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), or Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. Low EF number is an early sign of heart failure because of reduced pumping of blood to the rest of the body; these tablets are basic treatment options to prevent it. I’m a 55 year old female. Have undergone bariatric surgery in 2014. I weigh 70 kgs now (earlier 92kgs). I do not have any diabetes or blood pressure. My heart rate is always on the higher side. Contrast Enhanced Computed Tomography of the whole abdomen showing moderate hypatomegaly with coarse attentuation, edematous GB mild dilated portal vein,splenomegaly,diverticulituis in sigmoid colon.
