Parkinson's patients keep their eyes closed due to four reasons:
Parkinson Disease reduces retinal cell in the eye which rely on dopamine to process and perceive the colours.
Patient cannot adjust rapid changes in light.
Patient have dry eyes which troubles them with depth perception.
Patient also get blurry vision.
