My son was diagnosed for Wiskott Aldric Syndrome and Doctors have advised born marrow transplant. Which can be done at special hospitals in India, please we need you to avail us the cost of bone marrow transplant in hospital. Wiskott Aldric syndrome (WAS) is a very rare X-linked recessive disease characterized by eczema, thrombocytopenia (low platelet count), immune deficiency, and bloody diarrhea (due to thrombocytopenia). It needs a multidisciplinary approach. Treatment too has to cover different aspects of the syndrome. Transplantation is the current accepted treatment HLA typing of all potential donors should be done. Contrast Enhanced Computed Tomography of the whole abdomen showing moderate hypatomegaly with coarse attentuation, edematous GB mild dilated portal vein,splenomegaly,diverticulituis in sigmoid colon.
