it's better to get an xray done of that area and start on antibiotics as well as some good mouth wash alongwith painkillers to reduce the pain and see the real cause.Please consult a dentist as soon as possible.

I had a tooth fall out but the root is still In there it states getting super swollen and u went to the er yesterday they gave l me antibiotics as a today it keeps getting worse and now I can see q puss pocket on my gun and is extremelyswollen should I go back to er

I would recommend that you get to the dentist today. A visit to the ER will only offer a temporary solution. This condition would be treated by a dentist.
