Female | 28
Breast cancer can have various causes, and not all cases are linked to genetic mutations. Her 2 POSITIVE Right Breast Cancer ,after Chemo sessions planned for surgery, how many methods of surgeries are available, is there any difference of methodology from other hospitals of Hyderabad to Tata Memorial one. want to have opinion for the surgery sir,
Female | 57
There are several different methods of surgery that can be used to treat right breast cancer. The most common treatments are mastectomy (removal of the entire breast), breast-conserving surgery, and lymph node dissection. The type of surgery for you will depend on the size and location of the tumor, the stage of the cancer, and the your individual preferences. The methodology for performing surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital is likely to be similar to that of other hospitals in Hyderabad. However, there may be slight differences due to the individual expertise and experience of the surgeons at each hospital. You discuss your options with your doctor and ask for their opinion on the best type of surgery for you.

I have been chemotherapy in my body for a year. And I have a loss of appetite, so how can I get rid of chemotherapy in my body?
Male | 20
It is important to state that chemotherapy remains in the body for some time after therapy. Appetite loss is a widely observed side effect; it is particularly important to ensure proper nutrition. Consulting with an oncologist or a registered dietitian is suggested in order to create personalized diet plan which should help improve appetite and control signs.

It's possible that the wound from your radiotherapy treatment has not fully healed or that there may be other factors contributing to your symptoms. Hi, my father was diagnosed with carcinoma right colon, features are suggestive of well-differentiated mucinous papillary adenocarcinoma of the colon with metastasis to the lymph node and treated with extended radical right hemicolectomy side to side ileocolic anastomosis done under GA one year back followed by chemotherapy. We need a second opinion as his blood report reveals a presence of 17.9 ng/mL of carcinoembryonic antigen. Can you please suggest me a good hospital in Bangalore with less cost? The previous doctor suggested a PET CT scan.
As per my understanding, your father is suffering from carcinoma of the right colon with metastasis to lymph node and treated surgically and chemotherapy. Once any cancer which has spread to the lymph nodes it means it is stage 3 where the prognosis is not so good. But still consult an oncologist. Hope our answer helps you. My name is Pratima. Just a few days back my grandmother was diagnosed with colon cancer treatment (1st stage). She is 75 now. As she is quite aged, is there any chance of growing again? Or is there any life risk even post operation? As she is quite aged we are really worried. Please help.
Surgery is to be done to get the disease out of body and prevent it's spread elsewhere in body. There is always a chance of spread of disease in Colon cancer, so regular follow ups with oncologist are very important to check any spread. Age factor does matter in case of recovery post surgery. General condition of the body matters alot for proper recovery post surgery.

- Blurred vision
- Dark patch in eye that's getting bigger
- Partial or total loss of vision
- Bulging of 1 eye
- A lump on eyelid or in eye that's increasing in size

The above mentioned symptoms can also be caused by more minor eye conditions, so they're not necessarily a sign of cancer. Consult an ophthalmologist. Hope our answer helps you.

Prostate cancer occurs when abnormal cells multiply in the prostate gland, leading to complications. Common symptoms include difficulty urinating, blood in the urine, and pain in the back or hips. Ayurveda, an ancient Indian medical practice, suggests herbal remedies and lifestyle changes to ease symptoms.
