Hi, my father was diagnosed with carcinoma right colon, features are suggestive of well-differentiated mucinous papillary adenocarcinoma of the colon with metastasis to the lymph node and treated with extended radical right hemicolectomy side to side ileocolic anastomosis done under GA one year back followed by chemotherapy. I am detected with rectum cancer . I have a tumor at the tip of my anus and doctor has advised a surgery colostomy. I have got a PET SCAN done. The conclusion report of the pet scan says The known hypermetabolic primary rectal neoplasm involving mid and lower rectum.
