Good afternoon respected Sir / Ma’am I am 34 years old woman and tend to see that my pulse rate increases and holds for maximum 2-3 minutes and I come back to normal But Yesterday the same thing happened but the pulse was very rapid for over 15 to 20 minutes and had breathlessness also Kindly suggest what should I do

Female | 34

It is possible that the rapid pulse and breathlessness could be symptoms of an underlying medical condition. Consult a cardiologist to determine the cause and the appropriate treatment. Some tests like ECG or a stress test may require to determine the cause of the symptoms. After that only correct course of treatment can be started. Try to get enough rest, eat healthy, and exercise regularly.

A few days ago my friend had an open heart surgery, but after a month or two he was called to the hospital again, and was put to sleep on a ventilator and the doctor said that the blood has clotted and compacted, He is put to sleep so that his brain does not suffer any damage. Can she get well and go back home?

Female | 28

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's condition. It sounds like there have been complications after the open-heart surgery, leading to blood clots. These clots can be serious, and the doctors are taking precautions to prevent brain damage. It's important to consult with the cardiologist who performed the surgery and the critical care specialist managing the case to understand the prognosis and next steps. They will be able to give you the best advice regarding her recovery and when she might be able to go home.

My BP 156/98. please suggest meditation or excercise doctor prescribe me "Amlodipine tablets 5"

Male | 55

Follow your doctor's prescription as high blood pressure can increase your risk of developing other health problems. Regular exercise and meditation can also be helpful in managing your blood pressure. Physical exercise, brisk walking, jogging, or cycling for at least 30 minutes a day can reduce blood pressure.

If you're experiencing heart palpitations while breastfeeding, you must see a doctor. Keep track of your symptoms, stay hydrated, eat a healthy diet, get adequate sleep, and practice stress-reduction techniques. Don't hesitate to seek medical attention if you have concerns about your symptoms.

Hi Doc, My name is Bobby Sarraf, i am having headache, high BP, sweating, Breathlessness, pain in top back of left shoulder.

Female | 49

Your symptoms can indicate a high blood pressure that causes headaches, sweating and shortness of breath. The pain in the back of your left shoulder is muscular strain. Yet, one should consider the visit of a doctor maybe cardiologist to uncover any substantial underlying conditions and receive appropriate treatment.

If your ECG is normal then the pain may be due to muscle strain, anxiety or acid reflux. If medicines are not giving permanent relief, then talk to a doctor again, they may suggest few tests to find the exact reason of pain.

I am married to my second cousin. During my first pregnancy there were no complications nothing. My daughter was born with normal delivery. She was completely alright and normal baby. Completing her every milestone in time. But at 11 month of the age she got ill and the major symptoms were flu and difficulty in breathing thn she was diagnosed with MYOCARDITIS. And died after 1 week and was under treatment in AFIC (Armed Forces Institute Of Cardiology) Rawalpindi. I was pregnant at that time with my second child. My second daughter was born. She was also completely normal covering every milestone in time. She was treated in al shifa hospital throughout each and every test were clear till the 17 months of age. Thn again once in a while she suffered from same symptoms and diagnosed with MYOCARDITIS. She got treated in Al Shifa hospital Islamabad and expired at the age of 17 months. So now i need some expert advise what to do now. I am not getting any satisfactory answer from any doctor in Pakistan some are claiming it as genetics but some are arguing it can't be this because babies show no defects in any of there milestone throughout their life span. So any thing or any help regarding this is highly appreciated.

Female | 28

Myocarditis is a condition where the heart muscle is inflamed and can be caused by viruses, bacteria, or other infections. It is possible that there is a genetic component to this condition, and I would recommend consulting with a genetic specialist or a pediatric cardiologist. They may be able to provide more information about potential genetic causes and what steps can be taken to prevent it in future pregnancies. It is important to seek medical attention and advice from a experienced healthcare professional.
