Questions & Answers on "Neurology" (529)
I am 24 years old. I have recurring fever from past three days. It is less like fever, it is more like my body is heating up so much, mostly at nights. The heat is extreme. I have also got subconjunctival hemorrhage in my eyes for the second time. First time it happened around one and a half month back.
Female | 24
The symptoms you described, like recurring fever, excessive body warmth, and red eyes, might indicate an underlying infection. These can sometimes signal a condition needing medical care. I suggest seeing a neurologist promptly for a thorough examination to determine what's causing your issues and the best treatment plan.

Female | 22
You look like you are having weakness, with an unfamiliar sensation in your neck, and a spacey stomach. The causes could be varied, like a viral infection or dehydration. It is a must to drink water and have a rest. If they last long or become stronger, it is better to get a neurologist to guide you on what to do.

I experienced a fall from a chair backward and received a blow to the back right side of my head, behind the ears. There's a small swelling, but it's entirely painless, with no accompanying symptoms such as vomiting, headache, nausea, or confusion. It's been 40 days, and the swelling persists without any pain. What course of action would you recommend I take?
Male | 20
It's good that you don't have severe symptoms like headache, nausea, or confusion. However, since the swelling has persisted for 40 days, it's important to get it checked. I recommend visiting a neurologist to ensure there are no underlying issues.

I feel liquid feeling in my head and i feel muscle cracking in my head when i move my head
Male | 37
If this is the case, it could be because of some problems with the muscles or joints around your neck. Such feelings are sometimes brought about by tightness or strain in a person’s neck. You can check whether this helps by doing light stretches for the neck and exercises. If they don’t go away or get worse after doing so then I’d recommend seeing a neurologist who will give you the right diagnosis on what needs to be done next.

Good day doctor Since childhood, I have always been pressing on my nerves and muscles throughout my body, and I can't control myself. It's like grinding teeth, but in my body, and it's voluntary. These are not spasms; I do them, but I can't stop them. When I try to stop myself, I feel like I'm going to explode. The issue was minor in childhood and significantly reduced during adolescence almost to the point of disappearing. However, over the past few years, the problem has worsened significantly. Currently, I'm squeezing my body's vertebrae, especially my neck, and I feel like it's twisting. I consulted a psychiatrist and neurologist who said there is no organic issue, just a bit of anxiety. I took medications for anxiety and stress, but there was no effect. Thank you very much for your time
Male | 34
The nature of your symptoms probably is involuntary muscle contractions or muscle spasms. It is necessary to have the condition assessed by a neurologist who specializes in movement disorders or a physiotherapist who will be able to look at your condition in person and guide you properly.

Headaches are the result of either changes in the flow of the fluids around the brain or irritation of the nerves. This is a new symptom for you; tell your neurologist about it. Keep them informed of all your symptoms; this will allow them to decide on the most suitable treatment for your general health care.

What causes suddenly dizziness and visions blur
Male | 19
This might happen because your blood pressure suddenly falls, you are dehydrated, or your blood sugar has dropped. Apart from this, this may also come from inner ear problems or a change in the prescription of your eyes. Continuously, ensure to drink plenty of water, have meals regularly, and if it continues, see a physician.

The possibility that a person may have memory problems, tingling in the hands and feet, headaches, or muscle weakness suggests that there may be a shortage of specific vitamins in his/her body like vitamin B12. Taking vitamin B12 could assist in this deficit and could be found in meat and dairy products.

I have headache continuously. In my report of MRI it shows that I have preventricular cyst in my head Medicine is going on but I have headache What should I do
Female | 15
You may be suffering from a ventricular cyst, which is located near the brain. It is a fluid-filled sac near the brain. The reason that it causes headaches is often due to being under pressure. Adding to this, receiving regular medication, I recommend also not to forget being well-hydrated and staying stress-free. Were the pain to continue being severe or getting worse, you should report the headache to your neurologist for a new assessment and even alterations to the medications prescribed.
