I am 35 years old a female patient. Few days back I was undergone a surgery for repairing Harnia in Bangladesh. I have got lingual groin redecidible hernia.Size is small and size is same for the last two years. I got stuck out of India due to covid19 pandemic.No complications faced yet.Very slight pain sometimes due to stretch. Please advise 1).Is it a Lap or Open surgery. 2. It is a case of reducible non complicated hernia as per your symptoms.

A. It should be a lap surgery if u are fit for general anesthesia.

B. Cost varies and depends on mesh type and the operating surgeon

C. 2 days max post operatively

D. There are less chances of recurrence after laparoscopic surgery.

E. Polypropylene mesh is used most commonly.

F. Precautions should be taken in weight lifting and strenuous exercise, constipation at least for 6 months after surgery.
