I have a 7 month old with a very chesty cough for the last 5/6 days and now it’s making her throw up and gag when she has a coughing fit. She also is really struggling to cough up the phlegm and I’m scared she’s going to choke on it when she tries to as she struggles so much to clear it. How do I help her?

It appears that the little one has a cough; this sounds chesty. When I say chesty, I mean that he/she has mucus in his/her chest. If not handled well, the kid may struggle to breathe or vomit.
