I did two hba1c tests last month. On one day, my hba1c is 7.9 and the other day it's 6.9. I don't know which one to believe. So I did fbs and ppbs 2 weeks ago. My fbs was 82 and ppbs was 103 I also used medication, and was on a strict diet and exercise from last month. Now I have stopped using medicine. I weighed 107 kgs last month. Now I have lost 6 kgs Am I diabetic? Please answer

Male | 27

It's great that your blood sugar levels are getting better with lifestyle changes. HbA1c test measures the average blood sugar for 2-3 months so, a 6.9 result may be more accurate. Weight loss, exercise, diet changes, and stopping the medicines are all the ones that are working in your case. Make a habit of checking your blood sugar levels regularly and don't let it damage your health.

I am 29 year old male and recently tested my testosterone level. It is 2.03 ng/ml. So i want to ask..is this is normal?

Male | 29

Typically, this hormone sits within the range of 2.5 to 10 ng/ml in men. A level lower than 2.03 ng/ml might indicate you have an issue. That's not too far below average. Having low T can cause symptoms such as fatigue, low libido, and mood swings among others. Many things can lead to it happening including stress obesity or certain medical conditions. I recommend talking with your doctor about what these results mean for you and what steps can be taken toward balancing them out.

Need to increase testosterone level

Male | 19

This could be because of age, some medical conditions, or even some lifestyle choices. Eating healthy foods, getting regular exercise sleeping more being less stressed out, and maintaining a healthy weight will all assist in increasing testosterone levels. If you are worried, talk to a doctor.

I am 55 year old person and having thyroid problem for last few years. I am taking medicine EUTHYROX 25. But I am in doubt with this medicine. Recently I tested my TSH test again, which result is below... T3 - 1.26 ng/mL T4 - 7.66 ug/dL TSH - 4.25 ml/UL (CLIA METHOD) Please suggest correct type of thyroid and medicine. Thanks

Male | 55

Your TSH level is a bit high, which means your thyroid isn’t making enough hormones. This can make you feel tired, gain weight, and be sensitive to the cold. People who have hypothyroidism usually take EUTHYROX 25 -- you might end up needing more or something else entirely. You must talk to your doctor about what all this means so they can help come up with a plan that will work best for you.
