Questions & Answers on "Pneumonectomy" (240)

Been having a cough for 2 weeks finished my antibiotics I do vape

Female | 21

A respiratory specialist or pulmonologist might be the one to consult given a persistent cough for the past 14 days after you have completed the course of antibiotics. Vaping can aggravate the airways and increase respiratory problems; hence the doctors must do a thorough evaluation to put the conditions right.

I am a 15 year old male and have been feeling out of breath for the past 4-5 days on and off. Without any coughing but have also had hiccups and slight heart burn like pains

Male | 15

These might be signs of acid reflux, which occurs when stomach acid flows back into the tube that carries food from your mouth to your stomach. To alleviate these symptoms, try eating smaller meals, staying away from spicy foods, and not lying down immediately after eating. Drinking water might also help. However, if they persist, it would be best to consult with a doctor.

Shortness of breath whenever coughing Dry cough Fever immediately after cough Cough not constant Cough comes and go

Male | 35

If you start to cough, become breathless soon after, and get a fever with a dry cough, that might be the reason for lung infections like pneumonia. The cough might happen periodically. These germs such as bacteria and viruses are to blame for it. Taking rest, drinking enough fluids, and talking to a doctor for help are the treatment steps which can include antibiotics if it is bacterial. Be sure to get a lot of rest and drink plenty of fluids.

Jan-24 Doctor instructed me to check ESR and my ESR stands as 90 and Doctor suspected of Disimenated tubercolosis and put me on tuberculosis drug and after two weeks of tubercolosis drug went back to check esr,my esr came down to 35 from 90.Now i'm on second phase meaning it's 4 months of taking tubercolosis drug. But I'm still feeling all these. - one or two days I feel OK but after that; - I feel head heavy, joints num, feels like my stomach is empty, unconscious type and bit shortness of breath. - And it makes me hungry and I eat alot.Im not loosing much weight but still maintains my body. **I'm confused what type of sick is this? Please help me advise.

Male | 42

The tests show you may have a sickness. Your body is fighting it. The TB medicine is helping, but sicknesses can take time to go away. Keep taking your medicine like the doctor said. Tell the doctor if you feel new things. Stay hopeful! Follow what the doctor says.
