Hi, my name is Asha, I have curly hair and very short please suggest treatment which will be best for hair growth
Dear user, for hair growth, dermatologists often have injection, certain shampoos, pills, PRP therapy, Light & laser therapy, and various types of hair transplant which they can use for you, depending on the size of bald patches and type of hair, so we would strongly advice you to visit only the best dermatologists in India, as such treatments can be expensive as well as time consuming.

Hello this is Mahalakshmipullipati, I have flat moles on my face so is any treatment available? and is it painless??
For mole removal, either of the 2 surgeries will be performed:
Surgical excision: entire mole will be cut out and the skin would be stitched closed in certain cases if needed.
Surgical shave: a surgical blade is used to shave your off mole.
In both the surgeries, your mole will be examined to see whether cancer cells are found or not, and your dermatologist will update you accordingly.
This would cost between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000, depending on location of clinic, expertise of doctor, and size or depth of mole.
Anesthesia will be supplied, but post treatment you could experience discomfort or irritation.
Consider getting in touch with the experts, through our page - Mole Removal doctors in Mumbai, or that of any other city which you feel will be convenient for you.

Age-41yrs. From last 3 years suffering from a black patch all around my lips, specially below the lips on both sides. I had visited a doctor there who detected the problem to be Perical pig / Melasma Pg as written in the prescription. Treated me with the following medicines For the 1st month- Cetaphil gentle cleanser, Flutivate E cream alternate night and Kojic cream once in a day. Next visit I was advised to use Kojiglo cream once daily, Eukroma+Flutivate E cream on the patches twice a week. But I did not find any difference. I had informed the doctor that I cannot afford a very costly treatment, but on her assurance during my third visit I was applied Glycocil pack but yet felt no difference. Then was asked to use Dermadew Caloe lotion every day and Azideenz 10% gel once a day, this gel made my skin rough, when complained she advised me to use only Dermadew lotion day and night daily. My face is 2 to 3 shades darker than my body color. What to do now to get rid of this patch
Without a proper evaluation and diagnosis, I can't say. But normally, suggested treatments for perical pigmentation include topical medications and laser treatments and I do not recommend flutivate cream for pigmentation. However, based on your individual condition, the doctor will recommend the best treatment for you.

I am Prem Choudhary 18years old, I had acne on my face I had not gone through any treatment before, I had oily skin in summer and dry skin in winter. I want consultation regarding this.
You have an oily skin and acne problem. This is usually due to the hormonal changes that occur during this age. Depending on the severity, treatment can be decided. Topical anti-acne creams or interval medications along with some cosmetic procedures will be required

Mujhe laser karwana hai 3 siting karwachoki hu, CO2 ki 2 sitting bachi hai
To give a gist of what this treatment entails, CO2 laser skin resurfacing is a technique which involves using carbon dioxide (CO2) and a skin surface-removing laser (ablative laser), for the removal of scars, warts and deep wrinkles.
It works by removing the thin outer layer of the skin (epidermis), and heating the underlying skin (dermis), which thereby helps in stimulating the growth of new collagen fibers. And as soon as the epidermis heals & regrows, you start seeing the benefits, because your skin begins to appear clearer, smoother and tighter.
This treatment is recommended only if you don't have poor health, infection, or recent history of consuming certain oral drugs, regarding which you can always enquire more about, with the dermatologist.
Another thing to pay utmost attention to, is the post-treatment care, that is avoiding hot showers and picking on scabs, along with dressing the wounds regularly, and taking antibiotics, painkillers and anti-itching medications.
Recovery can take a week or 2 depending on the depth of laser resurfacing.
These are things that you can always discuss with your doctor, or even get second opinions regarding. If interested, then you may get in touch with our doctors from our page Laser Resurfacing doctors in Mumbai, or that of any other city that you find fit.
You can also reach out to us if you have more queries.

I have rigid black heads and white heads and open pores which kind of clean up I should go for. Nowadays my skin texture which was normal is turning dry.
According to me, you can go for a gentle, non-abrasive deep cleansing. Products that contain natural ingredients like tea tree oil, etc. can help with open pores and do not even have side-effects. For preventing dry skin, you can use natural ingredients like aloe vera etc., which can help keep your skin moist.

I would firstly advise you to please stop using persol forte cream immediately and consult an experienced dermatologist for your issue. The dermatologist will examine your condition and will suggest the most appropriate treatment accordingly which may include oral medications, topical treatments and lifestyle changes. You may also be asked to undergo some additional tests to rule out any underlying medical problem. Thanks.

Hello! I had some pimples on my face before but at present there are some scars left on my face and it looks bad. I want to remove these scars from my face. What is the solution? Can you please help?
For scars, there are medications available, such as Benozyl peroxide (kills bacteria associated with acne), salicylic acid (exfoliation benefits), retenoids (reduces inflammation and prevents pimple formation), azelaic acid (anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory), and topical antibiotics (kills bacteria along with reducing inflammation) - while some of them will be easily found in your nearest drug store, but others will require medical prescription, and even for those which are easily available, a doctor would still have the stronger version for same. They tend to make your skin more sensitive to sun, so an expert would be able to help you figure out what kind of sunscreen to use and in what frequency to make use of these medications, also, there are advanced treatments for acne too, like laser resurfacing, chemical peel, dermabrasion and microdermabrasion. For more information, you should consider getting in touch with experts from our page - Acne Scar Treatment doctors in Mumbai, or that of any other city convenient to you.
