I am suffering from hair loss from the front side of the scalp. How many grafts do I need and what will be the cost, if possible?

Answered by Pankaj Kamble

Hello, From the above mentioned information, we are assuming that you might be suffering from baldness level I or II. You might or might not need any grafts as your baldness is on the initial stage. Non-surgical methods such as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy or medicated treatments, would suffice for your hair loss treatment. and same would cost you anywhere between Rs. 3000 to Rs. 15000 per session or by medicines.

But in case the doctor suggests you to undergo a hair transplant, you might need 500 to 1500 grafts.

And talking about the cost, it also depends on the technique you choose. But the average cost of hair transplant would be Rs. 45 per graft to Rs. 65 per graft.

We would recommend you to visit the doctor as he/she can physically examine your scalp and guide you through the process and can let you know the root cause of your hair fall. Hope our answer helps you. To understand hair transplant price in depth, you will find our following blog useful: Hair Transplant in India.
