Meri ankhe damage ho gai kya new eye add ho satire hai plzzzz

Answered by Samruddhi Bhartiya

If you are completely blind then you won't benefit from corneal transplantation, however if you are not entirely blind on either or both eyes then in that case corneal transplantation can help -- as the name itself suggests, entire eye won't be transplanted but only a part of it, which in general is cornea. But even for cornea itself, its partiality or fullness while being transplanted into your eyes, would depend on the extent to which your eyes are damaged. You can receive this kind of donation either from a dead person, or from a living person who's eyes aren't in a working state but cornea happens to be clean. Hello i am 14 years old and i constantly see lightning in the corner of my eye?? im super stressed and i overreact easily

Male | 14

Seeing flashes of light or "lightning" in your peripheral vision can sometimes be a symptom of an eye related issue. However, stress and anxiety can also cause visual disturbances, including perceived flashes of light. Meantime it may be helpful to practice stress management techniques, such as deep breathing exercises, mindfulness or meditation. If this also doesn't help then visit an eye specialist to get it checked.

I take ashwagandha daily, can I donate my blood? And I had a Lasik eye surgery 3 years ago.

Male | 21

Yes, you can give blood if you take ashwagandha every day and had Lasik surgery 3 years ago. The ashwagandha herb is safe and will not impact your blood donation. The Lasik eye operation you had some time ago also does not stop you from giving blood. Just make sure you feel good on the day you plan to donate blood.

I am a 46 year old female..from few months I had observed puffiness around my eyes.. especially around lower eye lid..but now from few months it's seen on the upper eyes lid of my right eyes. Could it be just age related or some other reason.

Female | 46

It is likely that the puffiness around your eyes can be age related.  But certain medial conditions can also cause puffiness such as thyroid problem, allergies etc. Please consult a doctor if the puffiness worsens or does not go away.

I 28 years old. I have under gone Lasik eye surgery in Narayana Netralaya in 2019. But one of the eye didn't improve any eye sight...I went to them but they said the Par has removed and the number of both the eyes is zero.. but one eye I can't read and get blurred vision... Is there any way or is it necessary to undergo another surgery....please help me out in this issue

Male | 28

This is alarming because even in one of your eyes you still face an issue with clarity of vision after Lasik surgery. It is recommended that one consult an eye consultant doctor who conducts a full eye inspection. They take note of unique factors that cause blurred vision; these may be refractive errors or an underlying condition. This depends on what is found in the latter part of these surgical procedures so it may entail additional surgery if the findings are unfavorable, but proper professional assessment by an eye specialist would be better.

Your condition could be caused by allergies or medications.. Consult an ophthalmologist to determine the root cause. Apply warm compresses and avoid certain environments. Artificial tears or gels can also alleviate dryness . But don't go for self treatment, contact a specialized earliest

Hi ..I am forty-eight years old... Can I have LASIK to correct my vision... ??

Male | 48

Lasik eligibility depends on having a stable vision, eye health, and corneal thickness. At age 48, it's essential to consult an eye care specialist to determine if lasik is suitable for you. Other vision correction options like implantable lenses can be considered if Lasik isn't recommended.
