After experiencing a Prostate removal operation on 10th July I was offered Radiotherapy to eradicate the malignancy. Could you tell me the most typical adverse effects of this therapy? My doctor is not explaining things clearly.

Hello, my aunt was diagnosed with a brain tumor after a bad fall on December 31st. We were advised that surgery would be impossible due to her age and other considerations and she would be unable to undergo chemo, therefore she will be treated solely with steroids. We are not sure about this hence would like to go for a second opinion. She has diabetes also. We are from Kolkata.

Hi I am Nehal. My brother is 48 years old and we are from Rajkot. He was not well for the last few weeks so we consulted with our family doctor. After a CT scan and a few other tests on Friday, he was diagnosed with a couple of specks on one lung. It's size is 3.9 cm and the biopsy report says it's cancerous. In August, I was diagnosed with a tumor and opt it, but it has already spread to my bladder wall. From next week my chemotherapy will start. I am 49 years old. It has been a month now I have noticed that I have been experiencing pain and a burning sensation during urinating. I consulted with my gynec and she prescribed vaginal suppositories. Initially I got relief but then again it started. I feel the need to go to the washroom more frequently than usual. I am not diabetic. After all this, I didn't take it seriously. But for the last 2-3 days I had difficulties in holding it. Now I feel this is very serious because I am not old enough for this problem. I searched on the internet and found it could be a reason for bladder cancer. Is that so? Please refer to a good female doctor. I am perplexed about all these and it's making my life miserable.
Hi , don’t worry abt cancer and all.I feel it’s a urinary tract infection, get a urine routine microscopy test followed by urine culture and sensitivity.If urine routine report shows pus cells and bacteria then our diagnosis is confirmed. Visit a gynecologist with your reports.

I am from Delhi. My father is 63 years old. We have suffered through the wrong treatment. In July, he was diagnosed with a spot in the right lung called a pulmonary nodule. And we were relieved to know that it was benign. Since mid-December, he has started falling ill several times and even lost appetite. Then two weeks back we asked for some tests again. We did a PET scan and some other tests and found that it is malignant and cancer has now spread across both lungs. We are all shattered by this news. We are about to lose him with the wrong treatment. Please refer to the best lung cancer doctor who can deal with this situation. We are not in a condition to trust a doctor based on reviews. Please help us. Please.
It looks like it was misdiagnosed. So, suggest you visit an oncologist and take the treatment forward

I am very sorry to know your diagnosis of cancer. I would like to know your age and also how the cancer was diagnosed, was a biopsy sent, and what is the report of that biopsy? You definitely need to see a gynecologic oncologist with your biopsy reports.

I am Ritu from Nagpur. My father is 64 and he has stomach cancer that has spread throughout his body. He recently had a stent implanted to assist him in eating and swallowing, but he is still refusing to eat since it makes him feel sick. For him, we can't go for surgery and we are worried that he can't take chemo with this present health condition. If he still can't eat and get more week, what are the other options we can go for?
Please perform PETCT if not able to eat /persistent vomiting then surgical intervention like feeding jejunostomy to be done chemotherapy -needed plz consult medical oncologist.
