Hello sir, I was diagnosed with an eye tumour last year and operated it. After 7 months of surgery, yesterday again I was diagnosed with a tumor in my neck. I am very much worried now. Why this is happening with me. Is there any chance to be cancer now?

Eye tumor is a very vague term. Oncologist will have to know exact diagnosis, current disease staging should be done by a radiological imaging like CT scan or PET-CT scan. A repeat biopsy can be done to confirm the diagnosis.

Hello Sachin, Treatment for oral cancer (mouth cancer) or any other cancer normally depends on the type, location, and stage of the cancer, age of patient and patient's general condition when diagnosed.

Oral cancer treatment includes:

surgery in early stages,
Radiation therapy,
Chemotherapy.
Treatment for advanced stages will usually involve a combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Targeted therapy can be effective in both early and advanced stages of cancer.

In your case, depending of stage of cancer or if it is recurring, the clinician will decide about the line of treatment. Very important is nutrition of patient as eating will be a concern during and after treatment for some time. Hygiene of mouth is also very important and not to be missed. In case of advanced oral cancer, the patient may need reconstructive surgery and some rehabilitation to assist with eating and speaking during recovery. Speech therapist, nutritionist will be needed. The biology and behavior of breast cancer will be considered for planning the treatment of breast cancer. Treatment options also depends on several factors like the tumor subtype, hormone receptor status, stage of the tumor, patient's age, general health, menopausal status, and preferences. The presence of known mutations in inherited breast cancer genes, such as BRCA1 or BRCA2. There are some general steps commonly preferred for treating early-stage and locally advanced breast cancer. Doctors generally recommend surgery to remove the tumor in breast. Though the goal of surgery is to remove all the cancer which is visible but microscopic cells sometimes remain behind. Therefore another surgery may be required. For cancers which are large or are rapidly growing, the clinician suggest systemic treatment with chemotherapy or hormonal therapy before surgery. This is called neo-adjuvant therapy. This helps in shrinking the tumor which is easy to operate; also breast can be preserved in some cases. After surgery it is important to check for recurrence. Then adjuvant therapy is advised. Adjuvant therapies may include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and/or hormonal therapy When surgery to remove the cancer is not possible, it is called inoperable, and then Chemotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation therapy, and/or hormonal therapy may be given to shrink the cancer. For recurrent cancer, treatment options depend on how the cancer was first treated and the characteristics of the cancer. He is infected of perenial fistula. And for years ,almost 9 surgeries was operated for him. And his colonscopy result before 1 and half year said normal. But now when MRI is taken ,shows some small tumors and may be T4N1MX adenocarcinoma cancer IS created but the other results like colonoscopy says normal , biopsy result says non diagnostic, CT SCAN result says it is better for him to take the test after 6 months, the blood test says normal and other organs like kidney, liver...are all normal. The conclusion report of the pet scan says The known hypermetabolic primary rectal neoplasm involving mid and lower rectum. In very early cancers I.e stage 1 mucosal - just an excision from inside the stomach is needed. It can be done endoscopically without any sutures or scars. However if it is slightly advanced, then the surgery will be a bit complex as he already has undergone surgery for the esophagus. However if the disease is limited, he should definitely undergo treatment for the stomach cancer .
