My brother son with cancer symptoms based on few tests like open biopsy. In his right side just above the collar bone. But doctor is telling that. He have to wait for 45 days time to get final confirmation. On this situation we have to wait. Or to find out the position shall we go to which hospital is best in tamilnadu and India also. My brother son 24 years age

The tests required for detection of Head & Neck cancer and the number of days for the results to come in are:
Needle Biopsy: 2-3 days
Endoscopy: 1-2 weeks
PET-CT scan: 2 days
X-ray: 1-2 days
Ultrasound: 1-2 days
MRI: 1-2 days
As no test requires more than 2 weeks, so I would suggest you to not wait for that long and immediately visit some other doctor.

We need to check few more details. Whether surgery done or not? Generally, surgery remains 1st step and on safe hands the age mentioned is really no an adverse factor.

My wife's age is 41 years and she got operated on by laparoscopy on 21 February 2020 for stone in gallblader. However, histopathological report of the gallbladder which has been cut out shows Carcinoma grade 2. Please guide me for further treatment.

41 year old lady underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallbladder stones, post surgery if biopsy turned to be cancer, we need to evaluate and treat further. My question is what else treatment u had after diagnosis of cancer. Usually we do PET CT scan to know stage followed by radical cholecystectomy for gallbladder cancer. Frankly speaking gallbladder cancer per se has poor prognosis only

my first advice is don't go for surgery at first. go for Physiotherapy, get some best results.Because after surgery also u need physiotherapy. better u try it on priority basis. u will get result definitely, but if don't get then choose surgical maneuver only

I'm asking on behalf of my sister. She is 61 years old. She had breast cancer treatment in 2012, a mastectomy. 2018 she as diagnosed with still disease. She has other pre existing conditions, high blood Pressure, diabetes, thybroids and lupus. She has now been diagnosed with bone cancer. The hospital doctor says they can't treat the cancer because if her other conditions. She wants to fight this. Is there a realistic chance her cancer can be treated to extend her life. I've heard the proton beam is very successful.

I am detected with rectum cancer . I have a tumor at the tip of my anus and doctor has advised a surgery colostomy. I have got a PET SCAN done. The conclusion report of the pet scan says The known hypermetabolic primary rectal neoplasm involving mid and lower rectum. Small sized mesenteric, mesorectal and presacral lymph nodes with no significant FDG activity. Otherwise, no hypermetabolic distant metatases. I would like to know What stage is my cancer in? 1. What will be my lifetime changes after doing this surgery? 2. Is it safe to come to India during this time (COVID pendamic) to do the surgery? ( I stay out of India) 3. How long do I have to be in the hospital and in India for after care treatment ? 4. Will I need a radiation after my surgery? 5. What will be the total cost of my surgery? 6. We have done many tests in TATA memorial hospital from last 13days but doctors are just taking different tests they did not prescribed any medicines they are just suggesting more tests giving appointments.
