Your thyroid takes care of your metabolism, it may involve your weight distribution and hormones, which may then lead to breast changes. Such symptoms as weight gain, breast tenderness, and size increase. Sick to your thyroid meds and follow exactly as the doctor prescribed. I have diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in October 2023 , i get my periods on time till now but only problem is the flow change its very light and scanty only lasts for about 2 days earlier it was normal flow with 5 day cycle I am very irritated because of this , I live in hostel so when I get home back it was gradually become a little normal but then again the same when came back .pls guide some medications to normal it

Female | 19

Hormonal imbalances with hyperthyroidism can alter your cycle. This may lead to light, scanty menstruation. The good news is that when you return home, it becomes normal again but changes after some time. For you, adjusting medications could be useful in balancing hormones as well as enhancing flow during menses. Have a talk with your doctor about this.

I am suffering type 2 diabetes last 15 year i use 80unit insulin every day and Medicine i want to have stemcell therapy and you suggest me stemcell therapy good/bad for me

Male | 44

Stem cell therapy is helpful for treatment of type 2 diabetes, but it is not yet FDA approved and is under clinical trials. I advise you to consult a doctor in person. Based on proper evaluation , he will suggest whether stem cell therapy is right for you and discuss the treatment options that you can consider for managing your diabetes. I hope this proved useful. Thanks

Hello , I am 27 years old and i have testosterone value 2.89 ng/mL . And i make exercises fitness 3/4 days in week My question is : Can i take some testosterone ?

Male | 27

At your age, having a level of testosterone at 2.89ng/mL is right where it should be. There are several symptoms associated with lowT which include high fatigue levels, decreased libido, and even mood swings. It might be stress or some medical problems causing it; see a doctor before taking testosterone because if not done properly this could harm your body. If you sustain your exercise routine, eat well-balanced meals daily, and have adequate sleep every night -these activities will help maintain normal levels of this hormone.

Hi, I know there is a very slim chance that you will respond. But can I ask you a question; I have hasimotos (diagnosed 7 years ago). I function the best when my tsh level is around 0.8. I had a bloodtest 7 weeks ago and out of nowhere my tsh level was 2.9, I was also very tired etc. So my doctor and i decided to up my medication from 100mcg to 112 mcg. however the last 4 weeks ive been gaining weight like crazy. Atleast 3,5 kg.I also have a lot of energy, unstoppable hunger and feel very aggatated. I did another blood test and my tsh level is now 0,25.

Female | 19

Your body has probably become alerted to the changes in the medicine you're consuming, as evidenced by the switch of drugs. A sudden drop in your TSH may cause you to have symptoms such as a feeling that your energy has escalated, increased appetites, and weight gain. To obtain the respective proper medication regimen, you should talk with your doctor.
