Tonsil stones are small items in your throat. They are made of food, mucus, and bacteria. You might have bad breath, a sore throat, or trouble swallowing. Gargle with warm salt water to remove them. Also, drink lots of water. Keep your mouth clean. This can stop tonsil stones from forming.

My brother had mumps problem in february. Second day he lost his hearing completely in left ear. With lots of noise in his ear. We consulted many doctors and had lengthy treatment for about 6 months. But zero result. Doctors declared that hearing will never come back. But we want the the tinnitus go away. It damages his life also. Please help

Male | 39

The feeling of noises in the ear, called tinnitus, can be very distressing. Tinnitus in such cases is usually nerve damage caused by the mumps infection. Sadly, in some cases, the hearing loss may not be reversible. To manage the symptoms, your brother can try listening to soothing music, using white noise machines, and avoiding loud noises. Counseling or therapy can also be helpful for the patients.
