My mother has a small tumor on her elbow is it possible cancer?
Female | 48
There’s an urgent need for an expert like an orthopedic surgeon or an oncologist to inspect the tumor on your mother's arm. Not all tumors develop into cancer, so a thorough investigation is necessary to avoid any malignancy. Once it is confirmed that cancer is present, treatment alternatives can be explored.

I am trying to find the starting point to getting my knees replaced
Knee replacement surgery is done to replace the damaged joints so patient is relieved of symptoms. The knee joint with an artificial knee called prosthesis made of metal, plastic, and ceramic. It helps to restore function of the damaged knee and relieve arthritis pain. Knee replacement surgery is advised if the pain is interfering with your daily activities and negatively affecting your quality of life. Types of knee replacement surgery Simultaneous bilateral knee replacement - When both knees are replaced at the same time. The primary advantage of a procedure is that there is only one hospital stay and one rehabilitation period to heal both knees. But rehabilitation may be slower. Also these patients may need assistance at home also. Generalized fitness is important here. Staged bilateral knee replacement- Each knee is replaced at a different time. These surgeries are done a few months apart. This staged approach helps one knee to recover before the second surgery. The main advantage of a this procedure is the reduced risk of complications and also requires a shorter hospital stay. However, since this procedure requires two surgeries, the overall rehabilitation period can be longer. Either surgery may involve any combination of total knee replacement or partial knee replacement. The risks associated with this surgery: infection, blood clots, failure of the artificial joint, heart attack etc. Post surgery care, rehabilitation is very important. Hope our answer helps you. This kind of pain can be caused by muscle strain or inflammation. The pain may also occur if the muscles are overused or due to poor posture. While taking pain relievers can help for some time, resting the affected area, applying ice packs, and avoiding activities that aggravate it are equally important. In case the pain does not go away, please consult an orthopedist.

I have low back pain for 16 days now. It started mild at first – first seven days and it hurt when I sit down. When I stood, pain almost completely went away or when I lay down. Later, I had spasms in my back for a couple of days and I wasn't mobile for a while. Now I'm but I feel dull ache in the lower back. When I bend over, I need to be careful. Pain is localized and it's not radiating. I don't have any other symptoms.
Female | 29
Back pain is often caused by muscle strain. It occurs when muscles are overstretched by heavy lifting or quick movements. If bending over hurts, that likely indicates a strained muscle. To ease the discomfort, apply ice packs and do gentle stretching exercises. However, avoid any strenuous activities that strain your back further. If the pain persists, visit an orthopedist.
